TJ Woodwork Design
Our services are offered to all sectors of the residential and commercial building industry including medical, retail, financial, and public works. We have recently extended our product offerings to include all contenders in the woodworking industry. Whether you are a general contractor looking for a high quality product made to order and to fit your critical schedule or you are a cabinetmaker looking to outsource your cabinets, countertops, or custom fixtures then you can count on us to help. Basically, we custom build your ideas and designs. The finished product that we build and install for you may come from a verbal description, a sketch on a napkin or a full set of architectural drawings. In any event the steps we take are always the same.
Conceptual design and selections
At TJ Woodwork we invite you to use our reference library to assist you with your decision making on the project. The ‘Library’ is a conference room displaying hundreds of samples for your review. Species of wood from around the world, veneers, flitch selections, finishes, etc. The ‘Library’ continues to be a great asset to designers and architects working with the client on material selections.
Construction and installation
With the conceptual design in place our CAD designers create working drawings to be reviewed, modified and approved for construction. As each piece is constructed it is transferred to the finish department where pre approved computer designed finishes are applied. When the finish department has completed its’ work, we deliver and complete the installation ourselves. From start to finish your order is completed ‘in house’ and your ‘on time’ delivery is our control.
Cabinetry
All of our cabinetry is manufactured based on the highest standards specified by our clients on a job by job basis. In the case that there are no specifications set forth on a specific project, our manufacturing standards are based on Custom Grade, Type I, Style A as set forth by the Woodwork Institute.
Installations
All of our installations are performed by qualified individuals employed by TJ Woodwork. We do not subcontract any of our installations which allows us to retain control of our quality and provide you with the best service possible.
Countertops
We fabricate all of our fiberglass composite countertops in-house. With the ability to postform our countertops we are able to offer what some of our competitors cannot. Know that we can provide the following edge details: square, bullnose, waterfall, no-drip, or miter fold as well as coved backsplashes. Custom Fixtures
All custom woodwork that we fabricate is based on drawings and specifications provided to us by our clients or parameters set forth by our designing team.
